Due to the annual relay calibration work and maintenance work in 110/22 kV Kurumbapet Sub Station, power supply to the following areas shall be interrupted on Tuesday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The affected areas are Sonia Gandhi Nagar, Raja Annamalai Nagar, Puspa Nagar, Srinivasapuram, Subbaiah Nagar, Jeevananthapuram, Tagore Nagar, Pakkamudiyanpet, St. Paul pet, Kottupalayam, Muthulingapet, Rajaji Nagar, Pudhupet, Sellaperumalpet, Lawspet, Pethichettypet, Bharathy Nagar, Murugasen Nagar, part of Mahaveer Nagar, Kuruniji Nagar, Raman Nagar, Kumaran Nagar and Extension, part of Avvai Nagar, Besant Nagar, Thillaikannu Nagar, part of Ashok Nagar, Airport Road and surrounding areas.
The Electricity Department requested consumers to register their mobile number at respective Operation and Maintenance office for receiving SMS alerts on power interruption in their areas, according to a press release.
