Police is analysing the visual footage captured by CCTVs installed around the resto-pub where a woman human resources professional was assaulted by three men last Thursday.
Mrinmoyee Majumdar, a Delhi-ite settled in the city and her four friends, including two women, were having dinner at a resto-pub on the popular Labourdonnais Street when an altercation with a group of three men at a nearby table resulted in one of the men smashing a beer bottle on her head leaving her with three stitches.

N. Ravikumar, Superintendent of Police (North) told The Hindu , “We have recovered the visual footages captured by CCTVs installed in and around to the restaurant and have been checking on who all passed by at the odd hour. We will soon nab the persons who assaulted the woman.”
Though it was initially reported that one of the accused had sent the victim a friend request on Facebook a few hours after the incident, police investigations ruled out the person’s involvement.
