There will be power cut in entire Puducherry town and other surrounding areas on Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. According to a notification issued by V. Sridharan, Executive Engineer – I, Electricity Department there will be no power supply during this time to all categories of consumers in the following and adjoining areas due to construction works at the Marapalam Sub-station: Puducherry entire town, Muthialpet, Rainbow Nagar, Vengatta Nagar, Saram, Kamaraj Salai, Anna Salai, Govindasalai, Dubrayapet, Nethaji Nagar, Pudupalayam, Maraimalaiadigal Salai, Orleanpet, Nellithope, Ellaipillaichavady, East Coast Road (from Rajiv Gandhi statue to Marapalam), Mudaliarpet, Thengaithittu, Murungapakkam, Kombakkam, Velrampet, Sudhanagar and Ariyankuppam.
