No new COVID-19 case reported in U.T.

No new COVID-19 case was recorded in the Union Territory on Sunday. The Health Department screened 206 persons for the virus in the four regions, but none of the samples tested positive. The overall tallies are as follows: 1,962 deaths, 3 active cases and a total of 1,65,777 cases and 1,63,812 recoveries.

In the 24 hours ending at 10 a.m. on Sunday, 1,062 persons were administered the COVID-19 vaccine, including 198 who took the first dose, 681 who got the second dose and 183 who were given the precautionary jab.
