The Tirukovilur All Women Police on Monday arrested a 57-year-old man on charges of sexually harassing a three-year-old girl and her sister.
According to police, the accused, identified as Tamilarasan of Murungampadi near Tirukovilur, sexually abused the girl and her two-year-old sister while the two were playing near their house. The accused fled the scene after the mother of the children raised an alarm. Tamilarasan was arrested and a case booked under Section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
