TAMCO to extend loans to minorities

The Tamil Nadu Minorities Economic Development Corporation Limited (Tamco) will be holding a loan mela in the district from February 5 to extend loans under various schemes.

In a release, Collector L. Subramaniam said that Tamco will be extending loans to people of minority communities such as Christians, Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis and Jains. Applicants should be above the age of 18.

Schemes under which loans would be provided are individual loans, members of women Self-Help Groups, purchase of milch animal scheme and automobile loans. The loan mela will be held in Tindivanam on February 5, Marakkanam on February 12, Vikravandi on February 19 and Villupuram on February 26.
