Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi on Thursday condoled the death of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee .

“India lost a stalwart and a very good human being who adorned the highest executive position.”

“I fondly recall Mr. Vajpayee when I was in the same queue for a boarding pass to take a flight. He smilingly acknowledged my greetings and patiently waited for his turn. I have also seen Mr. Vajpayee while I was doing my duties as a police officer. He was exceedingly kind and respectful,” she said in her message.
