Jipmer wins Healthcare awards

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Puducherry has won the India Healthcare Awards 2014 in the category of Best Hospitals with Medical College (Non Metro).

The award is jointly instituted by CNBC TV18 & ICICI Lombard now in its fifth year. The contenders were shortlisted by market research agency IMRB on the basis of consumer ratings and doctors’ ratings of facilities made available across an estimated 4,000 institutions in the country. The awards were presented recently in Delhi by Shripad Yasso Naik, Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare.
