JIPMER patient tests negative for Nipah virus infection

The 53-year-old patient from Cuddalore, who was admitted to the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) with high fever on Sunday, has tested negative for the Nipah virus infection. The hospital administration received the results from the National Institute of Virology, Pune on Friday.
