The Regional PF Commissioner has directed pensioners under the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) to submit their life certificate/non-remarriage certificate online through Jeevan Pramaan before December 31.
Pensioners are requested to approach banks with pension payment order, Aadhar card, passbook and mobile phone to submit their digital life certificate.
A meeting was recently held with representatives of the State Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and HDFC Bank to prepare them for providing necessary facility to pensioners who wish to submit digital life certificate. Pension will not be released from January to those who fail to submit life certificate in time, a press release added.
