The May edition of ‘Live Music - SecSatPondy’ will have the Johnny Bedford Band from Chennai taking the stage at the PTDC Seagulls Restaurant in Rue Dumas on Saturday.

Frontman, singer, lead guitarist Johnny Bedford has been the powerhouse behind several successful Chennai bands like Second Coming, Rescue Squad, New Horizon and also Powerlyne, which played at SecSat years ago.

Old-school style

He is known for his crisp guitar playing, clean vocals and old school style of tight renditions of rock staples.

The Johnny Bedford Band is known for its mix of hard melodic rock and blues with high energy upbeat vocals and guitar-driven riffs.

The Band will perform solid rock hits by superstars Eagles, Beatles, Deep Purple, Bryan Adams, Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan.

The show, which is supported by the Department of Tourism, starts at 8 p.m. on the lawns of Seagulls by the beach.
