October 26, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:39 am IST - PUDUCHERRY:

Bharatiya Janata Party general secretary, V. Saminathan announced that his party would organise an agitation against the School Education Department for its failure to initiate any action against the private educational institutions which were conducting classes during holidays.

Students forced to

come on holidays

He also alleged that a few private educational institutions have been conducting classes and forcing students to come to schools during government holidays. He added that the private schools have been violating the holiday notification of the government because of the education department’s failure to initiate any action against them.

The BJP leader also said holidays for schools during festivals are the occasions for young students to mingle with aged persons in family and celebrate festivals, which would mould them as good human beings and would help them to lead a better life in the society.
