The Bharatiya Janata Party has started its preparation for the Lok Sabha polls.

Party in-charge for Puducherry C.T. Ravi, an MLA in Karnataka, convened a meeting of party workers on Monday.

Addressing party workers, he said the return of Narendra Modi as Prime Minister after the 2019 Lok Sabha polls was a “foregone” conclusion.

Schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Mudra Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana have changed the lives of crores of poor people in the country.

Tangible benefits

After several years, people got access to proper toilets under Narendra Modi’s regime, he said. He highlighted Ayushman Bharat and financial assistance under Beti Bachao Beti Padao scheme.

All the major schemes launched by the Prime Minister were aimed at the welfare of the poor.

He accused the Opposition of spreading lies that the Centre swas pro-rich.
