Annamalai University releases rank list for agriculture courses

Counselling date will be announced to the candidates through SMS

Annamalai University has released the rank list for B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Agriculture (Self-Supporting), and B.Sc. Horticulture admissions.

The university had invited online applications for Admission to B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Agriculture (Self-Supporting), and B.Sc. Horticulture from May 8 to June 14. A total of 13,754 applications were received for B.Sc. Agriculture, 2,082 applications for B.Sc. Agriculture (Self-Supporting), 1,102 applications for B.Sc. Horticulture. mong the received applications, 322 applications were rejected for B.Sc. Agriculture, 52 applications rejected for B.Sc. Agriculture (Self-Supporting) and 14 applications for B.Sc. Horticulture. Random numbers were released on July 7.

Candidates can check their rank in the university website www. annamalaiuniversity.ac.in. Counselling date will be later announced to the candidates through SMS.

Eligible candidates can attend the counselling by downloading the call letters from the university. The schedule is also available online.

No separate call letter

No separate counselling call letter will be sent to the candidates. In addition, random numbers had been assigned to the applicants for Bachelor of Engineering by the Registrar (i/c) K. Arumugam, for Bachelor of Fisheries Science by the Controller of Examinations Rm. Chandrasekaran, for Bachelor of Occupational Therapy by the Dean, Faculty of Agriculture V. Ravichandran and for Bachelor of Physio Therapy by the Dean, Faculty of Education Dr. R. Babu. The rank list for these courses will be released later.

Admission will be made only on the basis of merit by following the rules of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Nearly 3% of the total seats available are reserved for differently-abled persons as per norms laid down by the Government.

The merit list will be drawn based on the marks obtained by the candidates in relevant subjects in H.S.C. or equivalent examinations.

Vice-Chancellor S. Manian released the List for B.Sc. Agriculture, Member of Legislative Assembly, Chidambaram and Syndicate Member K.A. Pandian released for the list for B.Sc. Agriculture(Self-Supporting) and Syndicate Member M. Umamaheswaran for B.Sc. Horticulture. Admission Advisor T.Ramkumar welcomed the gathering.
