Eight new programmes on offer

The Directorate of Distance Education of Annamalai University has launched distribution of prospectus and applications for admission to various programmes for the academic year 2019-20. Vice-Chancellor V. Murugesan commenced the distribution.

The Vice-Chancellor stated that 268 programmes were being offered through distance education with eight new programmes for this academic year across India through 73 study centres of the directorate.

The new courses are M.Sc. Yoga , P.G. Diploma in Yoga Therapy and certificate programmes in Living Values, Raj Yoga Meditation, Lifestyle for Holistic Health, Spiritual Counselling, Stress and Anger-free Living and Holistic Ageing.

University Registrar (in-charge) N. Krishnamohan, Distance Education Director M. Arul, Adviser to Vice-Chancellor (Medical Affairs) N. Chidambaram and deans of faculties were among those who participated in the launch of the admission process.
