AINRC terms Budget as people-oriented

The Opposition All India N.R. Congress on Friday termed the Union Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as growth-oriented.

In a statement, AINRC founder N. Rangasamy said the emphasis was on education. and establishment of a National Research Foundation (NRF) was a good move. He welcomed the Har Ghar Jal Yojana (tap water to every household) in the Budget.

The Budget is people-friendly and development-oriented and would take the country ahead on the path to development, Mr. Rangasamy added.
