Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam organiser (south) R. Siva on Monday said the ruling All India NR Congress party men have been gripped with fear of the elections due next year.

In a statement, Mr. Siva said as the Assembly election has been nearing, Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, is turning panic stricken. That he seems to have suddenly realised the power of the people could be gauged from the hasty revival of the schemes that had been shelved.

Political gimmicks

He also said that people had seen the political gimmicks of the Chief Minister during the Lok Sabha elections and could not be cheated again.

Such political drama of the ruling party would only increase as the Assembly election keeps nearing. DMK will expose these tactics of the ruling party before the public, he said.
