The local unit of All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam would prevail upon its leadership to contest the Puducherry Lok Sabha seat, party leader in the Legislative Assembly A. Anbalagan has said.
Addressing a press conference here, he said the local unit wanted to contest the elections to show its strength.
He said the Congress party was preparing to allot its seat to Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam due to fear of losing the elections. The ruling Congress had completely failed to fulfil any of its promises, he said.
