The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leadership on Sunday said it would give corruption free governments in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Speaking at the public meeting, the party’s national spokesperson Ashutosh said his party was committed to eradicating corruption from politics.

Assures good governance

“In Puducherry, Aam Aadmi Party will provide good governance, education, health and better facilities to farmers, students and others,” said Mr. Ashuthosh.

He said people were fed up of corruption and there was no respite for the public who yearn for a corruption-free atmosphere in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

People have geared themselves to throw away the AINRC Government, he said.

Reiterating his party’s commitments to corruption free governance, Mr. Ashutosh said the Aam Aadmi Party had been in the process of delivering things as it was promised ahead of the Delhi Assembly polls.

Rowdyism ruling roost

Alleging that corruption and rowdyism were ruling the roost in Puducherry, party MLA Somnath Bharti, who is also party in charge of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry said Puducherry is known for spirituality.

But, he regretted, that the Union Territory was now gaining notoriety. And it was a matter of deep shame such a situation prevailed, he added.

Rally

Earlier, scores of activists participated in a rally that was held in Puducherry on Sunday. The rally was flagged off at Indira Gandhi Square and ended near Singavelar Salai.
