Will lead a team to seek clearance of various projects

Chief Minister V. Narayanasamy will lead a ministerial delegation to New Delhi on June 22 and 23 to seek clearance for various development projects and proposals for Puducherry.

Talking to reporters at the end of a high-level meeting with Chief Secretary Manoj Parida and heads of departments in the Assembly on Thursday, Mr. Narayanasamy said that he would also meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Union Ministers and discuss about various development projects and important issues relating to the UT. The Chief Minister said that he would also hold discussions with Union Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju during his visit to Puducherry on Monday and seek immediate steps for revival of air connectivity and expansion of the Airport here.

This will be Mr. Narayanasamy’s first visit to New Delhi after he was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Puducherry on June 6.
