B. Kobiga, MLA of Thirubhuvanai Assembly constituency, on Monday laid the foundation stone for LED street lighting system on the stretch from Madagadipet to Thiruvandarkovil, a release said. Member of Parliament R. Radhakrishnan had sanctioned ₹48.50 lakhs under his MPLAD scheme for the work.
Local Administration Minister A. Namassivayam, Welfare Minister M. Kandasamy and senior officials were present.
