Two youths were killed and two others sustained injuries when two motorcycles collided at Arumathapuram on Sunday.
According to police, Senthil Kumar, a construction worker of Arumathapuram and his grandmother Palaniammal were going on the two-wheeler to Puducherry, while Isakkimuthu and his friend Vettriselvan were coming from the opposite direction.
Isakimuthu who was speeding on his two-wheeler collided with Senthil Kumar.
Thrown off vehicle
The four were thrown off their vehicle in the accident. Senthil Kumar and Isakimuthu died on the spot while Vettriselvan and Palaniammal have been admitted to the Puducherry Government General Hospital.
The Traffic police have registered a case.
