The Railway Protection Force (RPF) on Thursday arrested a minor for standing on the tracks and attacking a 23-year-old woman on a CSMT-bound train with a stick.

An RPF official said the victim, Dravita Singh, a resident of Kalyan, was travelling in a ladies special train to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus.

At 9 a.m. on Wednesday, as the train crossed Sandhurst Road station, the boy struck the woman’s hand to make her drop her mobile phone. The woman sustained severe injuries to her hands and feet.
