Actor Tanushree Dutta on Wednesday visited the Oshiwara police station to record her statement in connection with her allegations of sexual harassment against actor Nana Patekar.
Ms. Dutta had on Saturday submitted an application to the police seeking an FIR against Mr. Patekar, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, producer Samee Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang as well as MNS activists in connection with the incident that alleged occurred on the sets of movie Horn OK Pleasss in 2008.
Police sources said Ms. Dutta reached the police station with her lawyer Nitin Satpute around 7.30 p.m. on Wednesday, after which a woman officer started recording her statement. Mr. Satpute had on Tuesday submitted a set of documents to the police, which included the complaint filed with the Goregaon police in 2008 and Ms. Dutta’s letters to various organisations like the Cine And TV Artists’ Association following the alleged incident.
The statement was still being recorded till the time of going to press.
