Spicejet introduces Mumbai-Bangkok flight

SpiceJet on Friday introduced a daily direct flight connecting Mumbai with the Thai capital, Bangkok. It also introduced six domestic flights connecting Mumbai with Kolkata, Chennai and Varanasi.

The Bangkok flight will start on May 17, while the domestic flights will be effective April 18. SpiceJet is the first Indian budget carrier to introduce a daily direct flight between Mumbai-Bangkok-Mumbai.

The additional frequencies introduced introduced on the Mumbai-Kolkata-Mumbai (third frequency), Mumbai-Chennai-Mumbai (third) and Mumbai-Varanasi-Mumbai (second) sectors will be operational daily. The airline will deploy its Boeing 737 NG aircraft on both the international as well as domestic routes.
