Only 19 women candidates have registered wins though 235 contested the Assembly polls. Twelve are from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), three from the Congress, two from the Shiv Sena, one from the Nationalist Congress Party and one Independent candidate.
Mukta Tilak from Kasbapeth, won by a margin of 28,196 against Arvind Shinde of the Congress. In 2014, BJP’s Bapat Balchandra won by a margin of 42,272. From Belapur, Manda Mhatre won by a margin of 43,597 votes against NCP’s Ashok Gawade. In 2014, she won by a margin of 1,491 votes.
From Chikhli, Shweta Mahale won by a margin of 6,810 votes against Rahul Bondre of the Congress. In 2014, Mr. Bondre won by a margin of 14,061 votes. In Dahisar, Manisha Chaudhary won by a margin of 63,917 votes against Arun Sawant of the Congress. In 2014, she won by a margin of 3,8578 votes.
Vidya Thakur from Goregaon won by a margin of 48,907 votes against Mohite Ganesh of the Congress. She also won in 2014 by a margin of 4,756 votes. In Jintur, Meghna Satore won against Vijay Bhambale of the NCP by a margin of 3,717 votes. In 2014, Mr. Bhambale won by the margin of 27,358. In Kaij, Namita Mundada won by a margin of 32,909 against Pruthiviraj Sathe from the NCP. In 2014, Sangeeta Thombre from the BJP won by a margin of 42,721. From Nashik Central, Devyani Pharande won against Hemlata Patil of the Congress by a margin of 28,398. In 2014, Ms. Pharande also won by the margin of 28,272 votes. From Nashik West, Seema Hiray won by a margin of 10,000 votes against Dr. Apoorva Hiray of the NCP.

In Shevgaon, Monica Rajale won by a margin of 14,294 votes against Advocate Babanrao of the NCP. In 2014, Ms. Rajale won by a margin of 53,185 votes. Sulbha Khodke of the Congress won Amravati won by a margin of 18,268 votes against Dr. Sunil Deshmukh of the BJP. However, in 2014, Dr. Deshmukh won by a margin of 35,072 votes. Varsha Gaikwad won from Dharavi against Ashish More of Shiv Sena by a margin of 11,824. She won in 2014 by a margin of 15,328. In Teosa, advocate Yashomati Thakur won against Rajesh Wankhade of the Sena by a margin of 10,361. In 2014, Ms. Yashomati won by a margin of 20,441.
Latabai Sonawane of the Sena won from Chopda by a margin of 20,529 votes against Jagdish Valvi of the NCP. In 2014, Baliram Sonawane won by a margin of 11,935. Yamini Jadhav won by a margin of 20,023 votes in Byculla against Waris Pathan of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen. In 2014, Mr. Pathan won by a margin of 1,357.
For the NCP its woman candidate from Shrivardhan, Aditi Tatkare, defeated Vinod Ghosalkar from the Sena by a margin of 39,621 votes. In 2014, Anil Tatkare from the NCP won by a slender margin of 77 votes.
Geeta Jain, an independent candidate from Mira Bhayandar, defeated Narendra Mehta of the BJP by a margin of 15,526 votes. In 2014, Mr. Mehta had won by a margin of 32,292 votes.
