A theme park dedicated to Swami Chinmayananda

On Sunday, the Chinmaya Mission launches Chinmaya Pradeep, a permanent outdoor multimedia ‘vision park’ at its Sandeepany Sadhanalaya complex, Powai.

The park is a tribute to the mission’s founder, Swami Chinmayananda, in his birth centenary year, and its goal is to highlight the knowledge of Vedanta, the Bhagvad Geeta and Hindu culture. The mission's world-wide head, Swami Tejomayananda, will launch the park. The park is both a biographical journey as well as a showcase for the ideals and vision that inspired him. Conceptually, it is organised around 11 verses of Kritajnataa (gratitude) written by Swami Tejomayananda.

It depicts the facets of Chinmayananda as a visionary and missionary, as a sanyasi, as a teacher, and as knower of self.
