Monsoon withdraws from Mumbai

Monsoon withdrew from Mumbai on Monday. Southwest monsoon starts withdrawal from west Rajasthan around September 1, but this year there was a delayed withdrawal starting on October 9.

From Maharashtra, the normal date of withdrawal is around October 1and it completely withdraws by October 10, but the same delay was reflected here. According to a release issued by the India Meteorological Department on Monday, monsoon has withdrawn from the Arabian Sea (Mumbai), parts of Konkan, central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, and conditions are favourable for further withdrawal in the next few days.
