Kamala Mills compound fire: another co-owner of 1Above pub arrested

The N.M Joshi Marg police in Mumbai on Thursday arrested Abhijit Mankar, a co-owner of 1Above pub in Kamala Mills compound where 14 people lost their lives in a fire last month.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone III) Virendra Mishra confirmed that Mankar was picked up and placed under arrest early on Thursday.

Late on Wednesday night, the police arrested Jigar and Kripesh Sanghvi, other co-owners of 1Above.

Fourteen people were killed in the fire which, according to the Fire Brigade, broke out in the Mojo's Bistro and spread to the adjacent 1Above pub in the early hours of December 29 last year.
