The National Insurance Company, in association with The Hindu In School, will be conducting the city finals of the Inter School Quiz 2018 on Wednesday at BSE Convention Centre on Dalal Street in Fort at 11 a.m.
Students from Classes VII to XII are eligible to participate in the quiz. Only one team can participate from the same school and branch and should consist of two students. No cross teams will be allowed. The quiz will have a written preliminary round followed by the on-stage final. The winners will qualify for the grand finale in Kolkata on August 31, where the best brains will battle it out to be crowned national champions.
Schools can register for free by visiting www.thehindu.com/this -nic-quiz. Limited spot registrations are available and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. The quiz will be conducted by V.V. Ramanan of The Hindu Young World Quiz fame.
The quiz is being held across 11 cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Kochi and Kolkata. All students will be given participation certificates and members of the audience also stand a chance of winning prizes.
