Mumbai: A 16-year-old girl in Badlapur committed suicide after failing her HSC exams on Wednesday. Shubhangi Lamje checked her results online along with friends at 3 p.m. and learned that she had failed.
She went home crying and her mother told her not to worry. Shubhangi was afraid to face her father. “An hour later, her body was found on tracks near Badlapur station. She was identified with the help of some residents,” an officer with Kalyan railway police said.
