Extortion case registered against Ravi Pujari

Navi Mumbai: An extortion case against gangster Ravi Pujari has been registered with the Nerul police after a builder lodged a complaint. The gangster had been calling the builder for the last two weeks, the complaint said, but on Saturday, he demanded ₹2 crore from him.

According to the police, the call has been traced to Malaysia, and it was made through voice over internet protocol. “The case was registered by the anti-extortion unit of Navi Mumbai,” a police officer said.
