Actress Swara Bhaskar says her upcoming film Nil Bate Sannata is on the lines of women-centric films that are currently trending and doing well at the box-office.

Nil Bate Sannata is a positive film,” said Ms Bhaskar at the wrap-up party of the film Happy Bhaag Jayegi . “At a time when women-centric, and content-driven films are trending, this film is one of them. It keeps women’s issues at the centre. I feel the audience will like the film.”

Recently released women-centric film, Neerja did good business at the box-office. Other films such as NH10 , Tanu Weds Manu Returns, and Piku also raked in the moolah besides rave reviews.

The film had received tremendous applause at the BFI London Film Festival, and the Silk Road International Film Festival in China, where Swara received the Best Actress Award. —IANS
