A Separation tells the story of a middle-class couple. While the wife wants to move out of Tehran, her husband insists on staying back to care for his ailing father. Things spin out of control when a religious woman is hired to look after the elderly man. It’s a moving film about issues such as religion, familial responsibilities and the ambition for a better life. This is a free screening. The venue will give ladies their first drink at Rs 17 since it is Ladies’ night.
