City artist Deepa Hekre will be presenting a solo exhibition this month. This series focussed on women, and their various moods and emotions through different stages in life. After graduating with a Diploma in Fine Arts from the L.S. Raheja School of Art in 1999, Hekre pursued further studies in art at Sindhudurg Kalamahavidyalaya in Kankavli. She spent her initial years conducting private art lessons and holding group exhibitions. She recently started doing solo shows.
