A: Neela Aasmaa So Gaya , Silsila , Amitabh Bachchan

Shammi Kapoor was made for song-n-dance in Hindi films. There is this popular story about how he made Pancham nervous while selecting a music director for Teesri Manzil. Kapoor hummed the Nepali folk song on which Pancham had based the tune of the trial song ‘ Deewana mujh sa nahi’ . ‘ Neela Aasmaan So Gaya’ from Silsila was composed by Shiv-Hari and rendered by Amitabh Bachchan and Lata Mangeshkar in two different versions. In the mid 70s, during the outdoor shooting of Zameer , Bachchan got a chance to spend a lot of time with Kapoor. The stars used to meet regularly after the shooting and play music and sing together.
