Directed by Lillete Dubey, this play follows the tale of an old actor, Nazia Sahiba, who was once renowned for her on-stage portrayals of mythical Shakuntala. Now she’s reduced to being the founder of a troupe, The Modern Indian Theatre, and the face of grandmothers in films. Sahiba dramatically announces that she will discard a film shooting to undertake a unique retelling of Shakuntala. The cast includes Soni Razdan, Lillete Dubey and Neha Dubey, among others. Tickets are priced between Rs. 300 and Rs. 500.
