Director Frédéric Tellier’s debut feature is a 2014 French thriller L’Affaire SK1 . It revolves around young inspector Franck Magne, who is chasing ‘The Beast of Bastille’. Based on events that occurred in the 1990s, Magne’s investigation begins with the murder of a young girl, which puts him on a trail to find a rapist and serial killer who targets eastern Paris. The cast includes Raphael Personnaz, Nathalie Baye, Olivier Gourmet, Michel Vuillermoz, Adama Niane and Christa Theret.
