Milind Anil Hoble, son of Goa BJP vice-president Anil Hoble, faces contempt of court proceedings in a dowry harassment case. The contempt petition will come up for hearing before the Bombay High Court on April 22.

Advocate Aires Rodrigues, representing Mr. Hoble’s wife Sweta Milind Hoble (30), said on Tuesday the proceedings were initiated for suppressing from the Goa court, the June 21, 2018 order passed by the Bombay High Court staying all proceedings in the case in Goa. Mr. Rodrigues said despite the HC order, Mr. Hoble on June 29, 2018 moved divorce proceedings before the ‘B’ Court in Panaji, which has been proceeding ex-parte with final arguments now scheduled for April 22.
