Design for BKC-2 in 6 months

Design for the proposed Bandra Kurla Complex – 2 (BKC-2) project, to be developed in the satellite town of Navi Mumbai, is expected to be finalised within six months, Cidco said on Wednesday.

The project, coming up in Kharghar, will be spread over 200 hectares, including around 80 hectares of central park and golf course. The actual corporate hub will be on 125 hectares.

“We have planned to develop a corporate sector hub on the lines of BKC in Mumbai. We call this project BKC- 2 and we are in the design stage. We expect that in the next six months, we will be able to finalise it, following which we will plan the development,” Cidco Managing Director Sanjay Bhatia told reporters on the sidelines of smart cities summit here.

He said its board had approved the proposal and Cidco would seek government nod for higher floor space index. — PTI
