The contract duration at all the airports except Trichy is for seven years. The Trichy concession runs for 10 years.

The new concession will now run from 2016 to 2023, and covers liquor, tobacco, confectionery, perfumes and cosmetics, fashion, fashion accessories, electronics and destination categories, the company said.

Flemingo International has also undertaken a host of e initiatives, including the launch of Flemingo Reserve, the pre-order site for all Flemingo operations.

The company started its operations in India with duty-free shops at four airports. Now it has expanded to 11 international airports and eight seaports. The company also manages the Mumbai duty free, the largest in the country, covering an area of 50,000 sqft along with its partner DFS. The joint venture has fashion and accessories shops in Delhi.
