Air India has, after an unsuccessful attempt in 2018, put seven flats in various parts of Mumbai up for sale. Located at Cuffe Parade, Prabhadevi, Bandra, and Santacruz, these properties owned by the national carrier are priced between ₹3 and ₹ 10 crore each.

In 2018, Air India had put 34 flats, including one whole building with 14 flats, on sale. But the properties had no takers. This time, bids opened on January 9 and it will remain till January 30.

The online bidding is being conducted by the State-run MSTC India. While many of the flats that the national carrier is selling had been on the block in the past, there are a few additions this year. The cost of all flats put on auction has been estimated at ₹254 crore.

Open for bidding is one 3BHK apartment at Venus Apartment in Cuffe Parade. This apartment, located off Captain Ganesh Pethe Marg, comes with a price tag of ₹7.32 crore.

The Bandra property is on Nibanna Road at Pali Hill. Located in Cozy Home Cooperative Housing Society, Air India expects the property to fetch it at least ₹10.36 crore.

The Prabhadevi property measuring 1,385 square feet is located in Twin Towers. It has been reserved for a price of ₹7 crore.

Others include a 3 BHK apartment at Mahim’s Nav Vidhya Lakshmi Coperative Housing Society, close to Hinduja Hospital. It has been priced at ₹3.12 crore.

All properties up for bid in Santacruz (West) are located in a single building, Sachin Da Strains. While a one BHK apartment can be bid for a reserve price of ₹5.15 crore, two 2 BHK apartments are available for a reserve price of ₹4.28 crore and ₹4.88 crore respectively.

The cost of the seven flats is estimated at ₹42.11 crore.
