Model and actor Shikha Joshi was found dead in her Mumbai flat on Sunday. Based to initial reports, the police are probing it as a case of suicide.
Shikha Joshi, a resident of Delhi had come to Mumbai three months ago. Her body was found in the bathroom of her flat in New Mhada area of suburban Andheri. She was sharing the flat with a friend, who was the first to find her body. She was rushed to the Cooper hospital, where she was declared dead.
According to the police, the model cut her throat with a sharp weapon. “Our probe is going on and we have not ruled out anything. At present we have registered an accidental death report,” said a senior police officer.
The model had acted in recent critically acclaimed films like BA Pass.
