Girls from Shivaji Nagar slum participated in their first-ever kabaddi tournament at the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar ground in Govandi, Mumbai on Sunday.
The game was organised by the Mumbai chapter of International Center for Research on Women (ICRW), which focuses on intergrating sports and women's empowerment.
75 girls played in this kabaddi tournament.

The girls of all teams were assigned mentors,who were trained by the Maharashtra State Kabaddi Association, and given training for over a year.
