400 M.Com students get wrong question paper

Varsity says students clicked wrong link

About 400 M.Com (semester 1) students from five exam centres have complained that they received wrong question papers of the strategic management exam held by Mumbai University on Tuesday. The exams were held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 96 centres.

A spokesperson of the university said, “The question paper that the M.Com. received was actually meant for students writing supplementary exams. The paper was set according to a similar syllabus and was adminsitered to 106 students. The students probably downloaded the wrong link.”

The university said it would take up the cause of the students who received the wrong question paper. The chairman and deans of the concerned department have been asked to resolve the issue.

Sachin Pawar of the Students’ Law Council said, “We are not sure how the varsity intends to resolve this issue and provide relief to the aggrieved students.”
