WB officials in Kozhikode tomorrow

World Bank officials will visit the flood-affected areas in Kozhikode on Wednesday. This is in view of extending financial assistance to help rebuild the State.

Kozhikode is the first district in their itinerary, and they will proceed to Wayanad later. A meeting of department heads was held on Monday ahead of the visit.

Meanwhile, the fund mobilisation initiative launched by the State government will be held at different places from September 11 to September 15. It will be held at Vadakara and Kuttiyadi on September 11, Farook and Civil Station on September 12, Thamarassery and Mukkom on September 13, and Koyilandy on September 14.
