Short film on rash driving released

A short film ‘Priya Sahayathrikanu’ (To the beloved fellow traveller), was released by the City traffic police on Saturday, to sensitize youth against rash and reckless driving.

The film revolves around a typical new generation youth played by Rakesh G.Nath who flouts traffic rules and endangers the life of innocent people.

Sudhi Krishnan, senior clerk from the City police office, plays the lead role in the film directed by Sambath.

Addressing the function M.K. Raghavan, MP, said he would seriously consider a request of the police department to sanction a special ambulance for the police to swiftly reach accident spots in the district. Minister for Panchayats and Social Justice M.K. Muneer released the film.
