Programme for women entrepreneurs at NIT-C

The Technology Business Incubator of the National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NIT-C) is organising a four-week Women Entrepreneurship Development Programme from July 13 to August 7 on its campus in Chathamangalam.

The programme, sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, is intended to guide prospective women entrepreneurs to set up their own small scale industrial units, a press release said. The participants of the programme will be given guidance to identify a project, study the feasibility, and the different processes of setting up the industry. They will also be familiarised with the legal and statutory requirements for starting the industry.
