: The State Election Commission will on Saturday begin a mobile exhibition to familiarise voters with the procedures of voting for the three-tier local body polls in six districts.
The mobile campaign, being undertaken by the Department of Public Relations, will be flagged off at the Civil Station here at 1 p.m. A specially arranged bus will have pictures, guidelines and demonstration of voting machines. The new electronic voting machines are equipped with detachable memory modules. The campaign will be on in Kozhikode district on October 17 and 18 and Malappuram on October 19, 20 and 21 and in Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod districts in the subsequent days. — Special Correspondent
