C.P. Rasheed, human rights activist, has accused the police of denying him details of the First Information Report (FIR) on the alleged encounter of the Thunderbolt commando team in Wayanad in which his brother and suspected Maoist activist C.P. Jaleel was killed.
Speaking at an open forum organised by the Solidarity Youth Movement here on Tuesday, Mr. Rasheed said that the police had not filed any case related to the incident as mandated in the guidelines of the Supreme Court in the PUCL v/s Maharashtra case. Two cases, however, had been registered against Jaleel.
